Life Enemies or Something Like It _ {Reflections Redeemed}
There are some views lurking around that dislike certain lifestyles for being “not alive enough.” To that, we can just say: enough. Enough with the preconceptions. Enough with the presumptions. And enough with the prescriptions laid out by those whose values contradict those of others. Keep such opinions within the social circles and networks where those kinds of thoughts are welcome.
There is no point in arguing over the numerous perceptions or perspectives. Life differs from one person to another. It has many paths to walk and many paths that are predetermined for us. Life holds more than one meaning and certainly more than the superficial idea of following a specific way of living.
If, for some, life is meant to be lived in a state of exaggerated ecstasy, excitement, or exhilaration—so be it. That is simply one way to see life. But it’s not even up for debate that there are abundant ways of living, all of which differ from one person to the next.
Abiding by rules, traditions, or cultural customs can also be a source of happiness. The idea that there is a universal instruction manual to achieve the one and only form of happiness simply doesn't exist.
If anything can be interpreted from the so-called “books of happiness,” it’s how abstract the notion truly is. Happiness isn’t necessarily ecstasy. It isn’t self-loathing or self-destruction. Happiness can be about feeling content while respecting boundaries. It is not manipulation.
Happiness is life—a healthy one!
So, what is THE happiness for YOU?
